ARE MY SUBSCRIPTION BOOKS TO KEEP?
Absolutely! Each delivery of books are all yours to enjoy as many times as you like.
When will I receive my order and when will my NEXT PAYMENT BE DUE?
All of our My Pretty Books Subscriptions are delivered to you once a month.
Monthly Subscriptions
Your first payment will be taken on the same day you sign up for a My Pretty Books subscription. Thereafter, it will be taken automatically on the 1st of the month. Any following payments will not be taken until the 1st of the month after you have received your first set of books.
My Pretty Books subscriptions are shipped monthly on the 1st and the 15th of every month. Your first order will be shipped on the next shipping date after your order is placed. For example:

All future months you are subscribed, your order will be shipped on the 15th of each month. This ensures you have your first order at a maximum of 2 weeks after your order is placed and your following payment dates will be the 1st of each month to keep things as simple as possible for you!
*Please note that on your customer account, your first shipping date will still state the 15th, however it will be shipped on the 1st.
Pre Paid: 3, 6 & 12 Month Subscriptions
Pre Paid subscriptions will automatically renew on the date the term ends for the same selected Pre Pay term. For example, if you order a 6 month subscription on the 3rd of January, your next 6 month subscription payment will automatically renew on the 3rd of June of that year.
Your first month of books will be shipped on the next shipping date after you place your order on either the 1st or 15th of the month. All months thereafter for the remainder of the term will be shipped on the 15th of the month.
Vintage Gifts and Used Books Sets
One time orders from our Vintage Gifts or Used Book Sets will be shipped within 2 working days of placing the order.
What condition are the used books in?
Our used books vary in condition from brand new to a slightly tatty ex library book. All subscription books and used book sets are guaranteed to be perfectly readable. Subscription books can be hardback and/or paperback based on what books we have available at the time.
Vintage Gifts have a varying level of wear due to their historical value. If you would like further photos sent of the condition of these books prior to purchase, please contact us at support@myprettybooks.com and we will be happy to do so.
Coronavirus Information; all our books are wiped down on arrival and stored on shelves for a minimum of 36 hours. Packing for shipment is carried out wearing appropriate PPE.
DO YOU OFFER A CHILDREN OR TEEN SUBSCRIPTION OPTION?
Currently we only offer adult fiction subscription books but will be looking to extend into children and teen sets in the future.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Currently due to the expense of International Postage we only ship products within the UK.
How do I access my customer account?
To access your customer account click on the account icon at the top right side on the page and enter your login details.
How do I change my selected Genre Groups?
To change your selected Genre Groups, login to your customer account using the icon at the top right of this page. Select the Manage option under Subscriptions then select the Edit option under Update Choices. Here you can add or remove Genre groups as you like.
How do I pause my monthly subscription?
Subscriptions can be paused for a maximum of 2 months in a row. If you decide you have enough reading to catch up on, you can pause a your subscription for a month or two by logging into your customer account my selecting the account icon at the top right corner of this page. From there, select the Manage option under Subscription and then the Pause option next to Need a Break? From here you can decide on how many months you would like to skip.
Please be aware that this can only be done BEFORE payment has been charged on the 1st of the month.
How do I cancel my subscription?
We'll be sad to see you go! However, if you decide you would like to cancel your subscription this can be done by logging into your customer account using the icon at the top right of this page. Select the Manage option under Subscriptions then select the Subscription Settings followed by Cancel My Subscription. Should you change your mind and wish to return, please contact us at support@myprettybooks.com.
How do I update my personal and billing details?
Customer details can be updated by logging into your customer account using the icon at the top right of this page. Details such as shipping address, billing and contact details can be found under the Manage option under Subscriptions.
I have received a book in my subscription box I already own. What do I do?
If you receive a book that you already own or are in any way unhappy with please contact us directly on support@myprettybooks.com.
